Hopefully the formatting was done correctly. Most of this was put together by going through the MusicBrainz forums and looking at what other people have for their tagging settings and then compiling a collection of what seemed best to me. This has given me an amazingly well-organized collection of music. $if($get(performer:guest violin and viola),$set(comment:,$get(comment:)Guest Violin and Viola: $get(performer:guest violin and viola))) $if($get(performer:keyboard),$set(comment:,$get(comment:)Keyboards Played by: $get(performer:keyboard))) $if($get(performer:piano),$set(comment:,$get(comment:)Piano Played by: $get(performer:piano))) $if($get(performer:drums),$set(comment:,$get(comment:)Drums Played by: $get(performer:drums))) $if($get(performer:violin),$set(comment:,$get(comment:)Violin Played by: $get(performer:violin))) $if($get(performer:bass guitar),$set(comment:,$get(comment:)Bass Guitar Played by: $get(performer:bass guitar))) $if($get(performer:guitar),$set(comment:,$get(comment:)Guitar Played by: $get(performer:guitar)))

#Best music tag editor 2012 download
Some come with Picard, others you may have to download here: It will grab genre tags from Last.fm, and grab a whole slew of additional data (like composer, who played what, etc) if it's listed in the MusicBrainz database.įirst, the needed plugins. This will sort your music by: lossy*(or) lossless/AlbumArtist(or) Artist/Album(Disk # if present)*/00-Artist-Album-Title.ext In winamp you can set it so that all the sorting is done for the Album Artist, giving a great final look. This makes it so that all the tracks from those albums are kept together. This makes it great for albums that are a large collaboration of multiple artists, one artist is typically the 'organizer' and s/he is the album artist but each individual track gets it's actually artist. I put a priority on the Album Artist in my collection over the artist. COME ONE, COME ALL! Here is my MusicBrainz Picard tagging setup.
